Forgotten Characters Mighty the Armadillo

Mighty the Armadillo was one of the consideration for the Main character of the hit Series Sonic the Hedgehog and appeared in two games as a main character SegaSonic the hedgehog and Knuckle's Chaotix (I talk about them later.) Anyway in SegaSonic him Sonic and Ray are Captured by Dr. Robotnik and force to traverse through 7 deadly levels and escape Eggman's tower in 20 seconds before it Blows Up. In his second appearance Eggman is once again trying to take over something and Mighty was part of the Chaotix at the time so he went to investigate the area and stop Eggman's evil plot   

                    

Forgotten Character Bark the Polar Bear

How can you hate him he is losing his home.








Bark the Polar Bear or Just Bark is a Polar Bear (duh) that only appearance in the games is Sonic the Fighters. Like Bean he was never used by SEGA after that game. He appears in the Sonic Archie Comics more than the Games and unlike Mighty the armadillo and Ray he never gets mention anywhere else. his fight field is called the Aurora Icefield and give the Yellow Chaos Emerald to however beats him.

Forgotten Character Bean The Dynamite

Bean the Dynamite is one of the least known forgotten Sonic Character because of Tails Doll, Ray the squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo. Bean is from the Sonic Arcade Fighter called Sonic the Fighter or Sonic Championship depends where you from. He really didn't see that much time in the spotlight because after that game he just vanished from existence in the video games. He is in the Archie Comics of Sonic The Hedgehog and shows up in that more than in the game. His main method of attack is throwing Bombs at the opponent and biting his opponents. Some people thing that because of 9/11 Sega won't put Bean in another Sega game ever and to the people who say that I say no way. That is because Sonic was fighters was made in May of 1996 not even close to the 9/11 terrorist attack. My reason is because they don't want to get Bean confused for Dynamite Dux which was also made by SEGA.

Egg Robo

Egg robo is a common Enemy in the Sonic series he is seen in sonic 3 , sonic 3 and knuckles  sonic R, and Sonic Generations. Egg robo is the worst character in Sonic R lowest speed, worst handling, can't jump, can't float over water, and worst of all he has a attack that doesn't do anything to the other racers. In every game appearance he is on Angel Island. Sonic 3 he is found at the Launch base zone where Eggman's death egg is. Sonic 3 and Knuckles he is found at Sky Sanctuary zone as the only normal enemy in the zone. Heck he is is controlling most of the Egg mobiles for Knuckle's story. and in Sonic generations he is back at the sky sanctuary zone as the only enemy in the zone.  

Robo Knuckles

Robo Knuckles appeared in sonic R for the Sega Saturn and is my least favorite racer in the game. He is a cheater and is the secret racer at Reactive Factory. The reason I say he is a cheater is because he takes a HUGE shortcut at a certain part of the stage. He is almost as fast as Sonic who is really fast. This is my reaction to racing him for the first time, "Okay I got you this time Robo Knuckles. You cheater, why would you do this to us Sonic fans SEGA?" Anyway people think that the fake Knuckles at zone 5 in Sonic Advance 1 is Robo Knuckles but that is incorrect that is actually Metal Knuckles. 

Tails Doll

Well the first forgotten Sonic character is the Tails doll. Tails doll only appeared in one game Sonic R for the Sega Saturn. This character is mistreated as everyone thinks that if you tag Super Sonic with the Tails doll, then TD will come out of your TV and kill you. That is false, in reality you will most likely kill yourself because it is so difficult to tag SS that you will stab yourself.  He is very slow his top speed and acceleration is the worst in the game, also and the only good thing about him is that he can float on water. He appears in my favorite stage Radical City.

 

Sonic R

Can you feel the sunshine? Sonic R for the Sega Saturn was a very good game It involves Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, Metal Sonic, Tails doll, Robo Knuckles, and The Egg Robo. I will describe the characters in their own Post. anyway there are Resort Island, Radical City, Regal Ruins, Reactive Factory, and the secret course Radiant Emerald. I suggest you find this game and play it. be careful though there is a rumor that if you tag super sonic with the Tails Doll. TD will come out of the game and kill you  

Sonic Triple Trouble

Sonic triple trouble Is the first game to feature Nack the weasel (Fang the Sniper) to the Sonic Series also is a Sequel to sonic Chaos anyway now that I mention that. Amazing how many people doesn't know that Nack exist. anyway the story is Dr. Robotnik managed to capture all of the Chaos Emeralds, but an accident in the testing phase of his new ultimate weapon, the "Atomic Destroyer", scatters the Emeralds all across the island. While Sonic and Tails are out to retrieve them, they are cut short by Knuckles the Echidna. Robotnik finds the yellow Emerald first, and dupes Knuckles into believing Sonic and Tails are out to steal the Emeralds. Additionally, a treasure hunter named Nack the Weasel takes advantage of the fact that they are all distracted with fighting one another, in order to take the Emeralds for himself. He does not know of the power of the Emeralds, only that they'd be worth a lot of money, so he sets out to take them for himself before the others do. The zones in this game are as follows they all have three acts and I quote this from the Sonic wiki Great Turquoise, Sunset Park, Meta Junglira, Robotnik Winter, Tidal Plant and Atomic Destroyer. also the "good Doctor (thats shadow the hedgehog's name for Eggman) is at his atomic destroyer. the booses in this game in order are Tart Turtle for Great Turquoise, Marve Shupopolus Gou for Sunset Park, Wood Butarundorf for Meta Junglira, Giga Pen for Robotnik Winter, Knuckles The Echinda for Tidal Plant, then Metal Sonic and Eggman for Atomic Destroyer. this game is only slightly longer than Sonic Chaos as these videos will show. 

Sonic Chaos

After Sonic 2 for gamegear Came Sonic Chaos which story is and I quote. The storyline to Sonic Chaos revolves around Dr. Robotnik and his quest for world domination via the use of the mysterious Chaos Emeralds to create nuclear weapons and lasers (according to the North American instruction manual).

While out on an aimless adventure, Sonic and Tails hear a troubling rumor: word has it that Dr. Eggman has returned to South Island in their absence and has managed to procure one of the Chaos Emeralds. As a result of the theft, the other five Emeralds have been thrown off-balance, scattered to all ends of the island. Without the power of all six Chaos Emeralds, South Island and its residents will sink into the ocean. With no time to lose, Sonic and Tails head for ground zero to retrieve the stolen gem. Robotnik has stolen the Red Chaos Emerald, causing the other emeralds to "lose balance" and be transported to a parallel universe. As a result, South Island is now sinking into the ocean, and it is up to Sonic and Tails to save the island and foil Robotnik's plans of world domination. It is also a very short game as these videos will show. That is a bad thing

Sonic 2 Game Gear

Sonic 2 for the gamegear is one of the weirdest sonic games I ever played and that is saying a lot but thats behind us, the story is south Island has been peaceful since Dr. Robotnik's defeat. Sonic, bored, decides to go on a journey in search of other adventures. Upon his return, he is shocked to find the island nearly abandoned. The only clue as to where all his friends might have disappeared to is a single note, written by his two-tailed fox buddy, Miles "Tails" Prower. In the note, Tails explains that he's been kidnapped by Dr. Robotnik and is being held in a place called Crystal Egg. The price for Tails' safe return are the 7 Chaos Emeralds, to be delivered to 6 new boss robots. If sonic Collects all the chaos emeralds sonic will battle eggman for Tails's safe return. 

But if Sonic doesn't collect all the chaos emeralds well the game leaves what happens to Tails up to the Imagination.

My Favorite boss theme in classic sonic games

Doctor Eggman second boss tune in sonic 3D blast this tune sets up the ultimate Eggman isn't going easy on Sonic anymore and the tune is just amazing.

My second Favorite Sonic Boss Music

My second favorite boss music from the Classic era is Sonic 3 and Knuckles Final boss Music Because it set the tone that Robotnik (eggman) isn't messing around any more he is going all out to destroy Sonic once and for all.

Top 3 Sonic Classic Boss theme

My third favorite boss theme is Sonic 2 Final boss theme because it sound like eggman is not going easy on sonic anymore he will try to squash and rip sonic apart.

#4 favorite Classic sonic boss theme

The spot at #4 is a tie between the Sonic 3 Act 2 boss theme and Sonic CD USA Boss Theme. The sonic 3 Act 2 theme shows that eggman been getting smarter and more cunning while being defeated by sonic. And The Sonic CD boss theme show that Eggman is a Cold Hearted Mad Scientist that isn't messing around.

Top Sonic Classic Boss tunes

#5 is the Sonic 1 boss theme. It set the tone that Dr. Eggman is ready to fight Sonic till the death.

Least Favorite Sonic Zone music

My least Favorite Sonic Zone music is Stardust Speedway Bad Future USA version. Its Catchy but I like the Japanese/European version better because Japan/Europe really set the bar for Stardust Speedway then the Vocals come and it just like What The Heck did I hear. 

Second least Favorite Sonic zone theme

My second least favorite sonic zone theme is Marble Zone. The reason this zone is here because The Music to me is Bland. Jun Senue didn't really make me like this zone music at all.

Top five least Favorite Zone Music

My least favorite Sonic Zone music is The Showdown from Sonic Spinball. I don't know what the music is trying to convey to me.

My favorite Sonic zone Music is Death Egg Zone from Sonic 3&Knuckles. It just sound like your going through a space station and stopping something bad from happening to the earth.

Sonic generations

Sonic Generations Is a game that came out in November of 2011 And is so far the latest game in the Sonic Series.


The pros are that the voice acting is good the levels they chose I remembered and that the bosses were fun to fight.

The cons are that the time eater in the xbox360 and PS3 was too easy. also the fact that both sonic met up should cause a major time paradox. also that the sonics can fix time and space by running as fast as they could is just stupid.

#2 Favorite Sonic the Hedgehog Zone music

#2 is Flying Battery Zone Form Sonic 3 and Knuckles Just make me want to dance along and Its catchy as all get out. I just love this song but not as much as #1.

Top 3 Sonic The Hedgehog Zone Music

#3 is Toxic Cave From Sonic Spinball. to Me its very Catchy and sound like a perfect tune to play Pinball to.

Sonic Colors

Sonic colors is in my opinion the 2nd best 3D sonic game in existent. The movement is fluid and the voice acting is different. The bad thing is that Roger Craig Smith is Not really all that great of a voice actor for Sonic.

Favourite zone music #4

My 4th favourite zone music is Sky Sanctuary Zone from Sonic 3 and knuckles. It peaceful, Beautiful, and just makes me think that nothing bad can happen.

Sonic Unleashed

This game is about Sonic the Hedgehog once again trying to stop Eggman's evil scheme to conquer the world. But this time Eggman was ready for Super Sonic. While Sonic was doing a monologue about how if Eggman became good Sonic would need to destroy Eggman's robots, Eggman drained the chaos energy from sonic and launches a laser right at the world and then sends Sonic, who is now a werehog, to the destroyed world.


Pros: The Sonic day stage is fast pace and keeps you on your toes.



Cons: the Werehog stages were slow and annoying. The final Part of the world Eggmanland is near Impossible. and the voice acting while miles better than Sonic 06 is still bad.

Top 5 sonic the Hedgehog Zone Music

 Everyday for the next 5 days I will be sharing my 5 favorite Classic Sonic the Hedgehog zone themes. #5 Carnival Night Zone from sonic 3. It is just so good that I imaging myself at a carnival.

Sonic 06

Oh my god must I do this....... Oh well it can't be helped. Sonic 06 was A Sega game released in 2006 for the Xbox360 and PS3. This game was not good in any stretch of the imagination. this game had no good stuff other than the graphics. The Major Flaws of this game is Bad controls. Bad Camera angles. Hard stages. Speed up segments. and many many many Glitches.  

Sonic the Fighter

Sonic the fighter is an Isostatic fighter game Featuring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Nack (Fang) the Sniper, Amy, Bark the Polar Bear, Bean the Dynamite and, Espio The Chameleon. my opinion is this the game is good. My favorite Sonic fighting game is this. This game has a few flaws like the battle with metal sonic is almost Impossible. the Death Egg 2 explosion hurts people's eyes, and this was the last game to feature Fang the Sniper, Bean the Dynamite, Bark the Polar Bear. Also this game was the only game to feature 8 chaos emeralds. 

Sonic Heroes and Shadow The Hedgehog

Sonic heroes is my favorite Sonic game of all time and is one of the first game I played and beat. The game just expanded what SA2 had. The only bad thing I can say about this game is that the game is repetitive all 4 teams have the same stages. Shadow the Hedgehog Mark the beginning of SEGA using the 4Kids Voice Actors. The game was OK but it had a lot of flaws. First off Shadow uses guns. Second, in one of the story line shadow kills the President. Third, Shadow kills eggman in a couple of storyline.

Sonic Adventure 1&2

OMG now we are going into the 3D sonic games. Lets do this. OK Sonic Adventure 1 was a very good game. the game was fast pace. also the Voice Acting was good. and it feature Creative bosses. but sadly there are bad things about this game. There is a glitch that instantly kills sonic. The Animations aren't all that great. Sonic Adventure 2 improved what Sonic Adventure 1 failed to do. The animations were smooth there was no glitches that instantly kill your character and the Chao Garden was soooooooo much better than SA1. but the only 2 bosses that were creative were King Boom Boo and the Egg Golem. Also the fact that the chao change color depending on if your part of the evil side or good side is annoying. 

Sonic 3 and Knuckles also Sonic CD

Sonic 3 and Knuckles was my least favorite of the classic Genesis games.The only good thing about this game was that the music was instrumental verson of MJ (Michael Jackson) songs. The special stage were too hard, Knuckles was a total idiot, oh god TAILS! Sonic 3 and knuckles feature a new version of sonic called Hyper Sonic which make sonic a Gary Stu (aka Overpowered.) Now before I continue I will say that this is MY OPINION  so don't tell me to change it because I won't. Ok anyway Eggman is an idiot in this game he makes robots that hurt their selves. Ok on to Sonic CD. Now I have never beat this game so this opinion will be from Palm tree Panic to Wacky Workbench. Now my main Gripe with this game is the lack of bottomless pits there is only one of those in this game. also the special stage are annoying. Also the bosses took less than 8 hits which in the Genesis game causes Eggman to run to about 4-5 hit for this game and also the bosses are not creative and turns from pathetic to impossible.

My personal Opinion

Sonic the Hedgehog 1 was an instant hit the blast processing in the Sega genesis make the game fast paced and the 16 bit Processor make the game look smooth and the animations fluid. The only problem was that the Special stage could cause headaches and nausea with the spinning and changing shapes. Sonic 2 evolved  what sonic 1 did making the special stage not spin and the background being the  color of the chaos emerald you were going to get. If you get the certain amount of ring the game ask you to get. The problem with this game was Miles "Tails" Prower. When he hit Robotnik (if your from America) or Eggman (if your Japaneses) He have Invincibility Frames and you fall through him and get hit.

Random Facts

In Sonic 3 and Knuckles, Knux's socks  changes color when you play as him when when he messes with sonic. In Hang Castle at a certain point the is an eggman statue when you turn the stage upside down the eggman statue turns into a Neo Metal Sonic statue. Eggman was never fought in Sonic heroes instead it was Neo Metal Sonic disguised as eggman.  

Beta Elements

Before the first game Sega needed a Mascot but what was it going to be? Sega thought about it being a rabbit a dog a fat man in PJs or a hedgehog. They went with a hedgehog . The hero of the game might of been the fat man in PJs. Sonic was supposed to be in a rock band and have a girlfriend name Mandonna.

New games

Sonic first Jump into the modern era is with Sonic Adventure for the Sega Dreamcast. In this game Sonic and all of his friends must stop Dr. Eggman from Conquering the world by using Chaos, the god of destruction that was sealed in the Master emerald after the great war when almost all the echidna's was wiped out. In the end Chaos was defeated and his heart was restored to normal. In Sonic Adventure 2 Shadow the Hedgehog was release by Dr. Eggman and then tries to use the Space Colony Ark to crash into the earth but was stopped by remembering Maria Robotnik then stops the Ark from crashing into the earth. In Shadow the hedgehog Shadow is met by a leader of an alien race called the black arms and figure out that the Black arms DNA is inside of Shadow. Dr. Gerold told Shadow that the eclipse cannon was made to destroy the Black arms Mothership, The Black Comet. In sonic Colors Eggman builds an Interstellar Amusement Park apparently out of a sense of remorse for his past transgression and was in no way any sort of evil plot. Sonic soon learns that eggman was going to mind control the Earth so that no one will stop him. Eggman's plan backfire and is left to travel the vastness of space. That is when he met the primordial from of the time eater which could erase time and used it to undo his previous defeats. In order to perfect it he needed the help of someone who is just as smart as him and the only person that smart is him. In the end he was defeat by classic and modern Super Sonic.          

Games

Sonic first game came out June 23rd, 1991 in his first adventure he must stop the evil Dr. Eggman (Robotnik in America) from taking over the world by collecting the 6 Chaos Emeralds and destroying the Robotizers at the end of different zones to save his animal friends. On November 21st, 1992 Sonic met a two tailed fox named Mile Prower nicknamed Tails who was trying to stop eggman's latest creation The Death egg. Sonic must once again collect the now 7 chaos emeralds and destroy the robotizers at the end of all zones The 7th chaos emerald allowed sonic to enter his super form after he collected 50 rings and be invincible to all enemy attacks after making his way to the death egg he faced off against silver sonic Mk1 and then Eggman's Giant mech. After the giant mech's defeat the death egg crashes on a floating island called angel island. On angel island Eggman leaned about the Master emerald which can control the chaos emeralds but the guardian of the master emerald, Knuckles was in his way of getting his hands on the master emerald. So Eggman tricked Knuckles into thinking that Sonic and Tails were on their way to steal the Master emerald to take over the world and that they were going to use the Chaos emeralds to defeat Knuckles and that Eggman was trying to stop Sonic from stealing the master emerald when Eggman was really going to steal the master emerald to power his Death eggman to conquer the world. Sonic and Tails arrived only to get the Chaos emerald stolen from them by Knuckles. Sonic and tails went through Angel island collecting the chaos and super emeralds. In the end Sonic and tails destroyed the Death Egg and return the Master emerald on its rightful spot on angel island.            

History

Sonic the hedgehog's history is one that is filled with constant battles against not only Egmman (Robotnik) but also with Nintendo mascot Mario. Sonic was made as a replacement to Sega's original mascot Alex kidd to have something to keep up with Nintendo popular main titles like The legend of Zelda and the Mario bros. Series.   

Why I am Making this?

This blog will be about the History, games, beta elements, random facts, and my personal opinon of the games. I was hooked on this Hedgehog ever since Sonic Heroes Came out in 2003 for the Nintendo GameCube. Ever since then I got mostly every Sonic game, gotten every chaos emeralds, and stopped Eggman/Robotnik's evil plots to rule the world. I will continue to play sonic games until Sonic team goes bankrupt. Sonic the Hedgehog rules.
